Stephen Allen "Stevo" DeWitt, age 24, of Oakland, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Stevo was a graduate of Southern High School, Class of 2014. He was the owner of DeWitt Construction. Stevo’s real passion was his music. He enjoyed playing drums or guitar. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting.

Stevo is survived by his mother, Tabitha Moyer and husband Wayne; his father, Kenneth DeWitt and partner Marsha Dixon; a daughter, Rhianon DeWitt, her mother, Nikki Hardesty; brothers, David Stewart, Nicholas Stewart, Kedan DeWitt; stepbrothers, Wayne Moyer, Joseph Moyer, Samuel Moyer, Aidan Moyer, Kai Moyer, Iein Moyer; grandmothers, Leona DeWitt and Patricia Schrock; grandfather, Junior Lewis.

Stevo was preceded in death by a grandmother, Tena Moyer; a grandfather, William DeWitt; great grandmothers, Mary Leslie and Audrey Baker; and a cousin, Stephanie Hebb.

A celebration of Stevo’s life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Brodak Banquet Hall, 18268 Garrett Highway, Oakland, Maryland at 2 PM with Pastor Wally Ovideo officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Stevo’s family for his daughter. The family would like to thank the Loch Lynn Church of God, the Mountaintop Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Christian Motorcycle Association, Anthony Brodak and Susanna for their help and continuous support.
