Rosalie Harvey

Rosalie Kathryn Harvey, 72, of Oakland, MD, passed away November 26, 2021, at Dennett Road Manor. Born on January 6, 1949, in Swanton, MD, the daughter to the late George Stanley and Glendora Lee (Dunithan) Harvey.

Rosalie attended Southern High School. She worked for multiple hotels over the years as a housekeeper. She admired all the animals of God's creation. Rosalie loved reading her Bible, spending time with her family, who she enjoyed cooking and baking for. Her favorite time of the year was Autumn.

She is survived by two brothers, Dale Eugene Harvey and wife Nellie, Randolph Lee Harvey; three sisters, Margaret Ann Miller and partner Bill, Janet Elizabeth Harvey and Partner Gene, Sandra Kay Gay and husband George along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jean Friend and Nita May Harvey.

Friends will be received Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 6 to 8 pm at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the funeral home with Pastor David Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Swanton. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Harvey family at this time.
