Michael Cosner

Michael Shaun Cosner, age 43, of Gormania, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021.  Born on January 5, 1978 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of Larry and Teresha (Brown) Cosner.

Michael was a graduate of Union High School, Class of 1996.  He was most recently employed in Oakland at Rigidply Rafters.  He loved sports and spending time with his family.  His daughters were his world and his family fondly shared memories of him fishing or playing basketball with his girls.  Michael had a heart of gold and was always willing to help out his friends and family. He will be truly be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his daughters, Jasmine Wooding and Khloe Cosner; two sisters, Stephanie Tuel and husband Jeffrey of Elk Garden, Amber Swiger and husband Jeffrey of Shinnston; nieces and nephews, Gracie and Olivia Bomboy, Jordan, Ashton and Brylee Tuel, Isabella and Brady Swiger; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Joey Thomas and officiating.  Michael's wish for cremation will be honored and interment in the Bayard Cemetery will be held at a later date.
