Marion Lantz

Marion L. "Mary" Lantz, 82, of Mt. Lake Park, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Dennett Road Manor. Born on August 9, 1937 in Aurora, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harvey L. and Merle O. (Snyder) Knotts. Mary was a homemaker. She also worked as a dietary aid at Garrett Memorial Hospital. Marion was a member of Loch Lynn Church of God. Her personal ministry included visiting homebound people in our community and visiting local nursing homes where she would lead hymn sings with the residents. Mary is survived by her step children, Allen R. Lantz and wife Becky and Linda Frechette, all of Wooster, OH; step grandchildren, Fallon Stoner and husband Dustin, Bryan Lantz; step great granddaughter, Madison Stoner; siblings, Bonnie Jean Blamble and Richard "Buck" Knotts. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Lantz; four siblings, Blanche Wotring, Colleen Irvin, Amos Knotts and Arbabella Hinkle. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 10 AM-noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastors Ivan and Cindy Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Accident Community Cemetery, Eglon, WV. Mary's family would like to thank Cindy Mirras, Kathy Skipper and Kenny Fike for the devotion and care shown to her.
