Leeann Deborah Dawn Dignan, age 42, of Bayard, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home.

Born on July 15, 1978 in Morgantown, West Virginia, she is the daughter of Mary Ann Foster and John Burkett, Sr.

Leeann was a graduate of Morgantown High School.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends along with her beloved cat Honda.  She loved going to the beach, drawing and home decorating.  Leeann also loved collecting crystals with her dear friend Korie Smith.

Leeann is survived by her husband of twelve years, Wray "Toni" Dignan; a step son, Colton Turner of Keyser; grandmother, Lillian "Nana" Foster of Dangerfield, Texas; her parents, Mary Ann and Randall Foster of Spring, Texas, John and Chris Burkett of Morgantown, West Virginia; three brothers, Johnny Burkett and wife Tammi of Richlands, North Carolina, Jonathan Foster of New York City, New York and Jacob Foster of Denver, Colorado; a brother-in-law, Eric Moreland of Bayard, West Virginia; a sister-in-law, Natashia Piper Pennington of Bayard, West Virginia; a mother-in-law, Wendy Pennington of Bayard, West Virginia; four very special nieces, Shauna Tennant of Morgantown, West Virginia, Kelsi and Emmalee Burkett of Richlands, North Carolina, Wynter Rose Rollison of Bayard, West Virginia; and of course her beloved cat Honda; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Leeann was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Burdetta Lee Ryenolds and Paul Foster; and her paternal grandparents, Harry Sr. and Dolly Burkett.

Leeann's wishes for cremation will be honored and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Southern Garrett Rescue Squad or the Mount Storm Rescue Squad.  The family wants to send a special thanks to Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad and the Mount Storm Rescue Squad for their efforts in our time of need.
