Jenelda Cosner

Jenelda Sue Cosner, age 74, of Elk Garden, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.  Born on July 13, 1946 in Shaw, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ada (Wolfe) Duckworth.

Jenelda's life focus was on her family.  She was a homemaker who loved spending time  with her loved ones in person or by using Facetime.  She enjoyed reading, taking day trips with her husband, flower gardening and watching all varieties of birds outside and her pets birds indoors.  Jenelda was a very devoted wife, mother and granny.

Jenelda is survived for her husband of 55 years, Richard L. Cosner, Sr.; four children, Kelly Cosner and husband Scott of Elk Garden, Brenda Stonebraker of Hagerstown, Richard L. "Rick" Cosner, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Elk Garden, Peggy Peer and husband David of Short Gap; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a very special friend, Marlene Fout; and her dog, Abbie.  In addition to her parents, Jenelda was preceded in death by a son, Danny Duckworth; and a brother, Don Duckworth.

Jenelda's request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be held at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Greg Moreland officiating.
