James N. “Jim” Rohrbaugh, 70, of Crellin, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Born on October 30, 1948, he is the son of the late George Forrest and Mary Jane (Kisner) Rohrbaugh. Jim was a graduate of Southern High School and proudly served in the United States Army from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. He worked in the coal mining industry for 37 years and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America from 1975-2011. Jim was also a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, the Beechwood and Mt. Top Hunting Clubs and Trout Unlimited. Jim was a passionate angler and he shared his love of fishing with four very special friends, Craig Collins, Billy Ferry, Danny Milavec and Bryson Meyers with whom he fished every day and loved like a son. He also enjoyed spending time hunting and watching the Baltimore Ravens or the Alabama Crimson Tide play football.

Jim is survived by his greatest catch, his bride of 48 years, Sharon E. (DeWitt) Rohrbaugh; a daughter, Robin Rohrbaugh of Sarasota, FL; his siblings, Pamela Pingley and husband William of Kingwood, WV, George Rohrbaugh and wife Connie of Lincolnton, GA, Donna Cooper and husband Jeffrey of Aiken, SC.

In accordance with Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to assist the Rohrbaugh family at this time.
