James Park

James Edward "Eddie" Park, 77, of Oakland, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, June 7, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 6, 1945, in Hutton, MD, and was the son of the late Encil M. and Margaret E. (Sell) Park.

He was a retired UMWA coal miner. He was a very loving, giving, and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and anything outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Kay (Reall) Park; two sons, Mark James, and Jason Edward Park and wife Joyce, both of Oakland; a grandson, Gregory Baker; a granddaughter, Hanna Yutzy and husband Gerald; a step granddaughter, Kayla Lowdermilk; three great grandchildren, Brantley and Tucker Yutzy, and Daniella Baker; two brothers, Harold Park and wife Janet, and Bob Park and wife Anna, of Oakland; a sister, Phyllis Redmond of Kingwood, WV; a sister-in-law, Sue Park of Kingwood, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Park; two sisters, Betty Keefer and Jane Cosner and a brother, William "Bill" Park.

At his request, he will be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Salt Lick, WV.
