James Dillsworth

James Arthur Dillsworth, 46, of Davis, WV, passed away December 25, 2021 at his home. He was born in Oakland, MD, on August 14, 1975, a son to the late Harold Dillsworth, Sr. and surviving Wilda Shrout.

James was a hardworker; working for Hinchliff Lumber for numeous years and also worked for the coal mines in the maintenance department. He loved the outdoors and riding his ATV. James enjoyed traveling and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and WWE. He loved his family, had a great sense of humor and was known for his jokes.

He is survived by his mother, Wilda Shrout and her husband David; two daughters, Cortney Noel Dillsworth and Megan Hope Dillsworth; one son, James Arthur Dillsworth, Jr.; one grandchild, Apollo Arthur-Edward Lucas; three brothers, Harold Dillsworth Jr. and wife Kerry, Steven Dillsworth and wife Kathy and Shawn Dillsworth; two sisters, Jenny Johnson and husband Roger and Dawn Webb along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dillsworth Sr.

James will be cremated. There will be a memorial service held at a later date and an announcement will be made. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A. is honored to be serving the family at this time.
