Jackie Tasker

Jackie Lynn Tasker, 42, of Oakland, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2019.  Born on March 20, 1977, she was the daughter of Sandy Tasker and stepfather Ray Monk and Allen Moreland, Sr. and wife Kimberly, all of Oakland.  Jackie was a graduate of Southern Garrett High School and went on to be the bookkeeper for her mom, Sandy’s restaurant businesses.  Jackie was a kind-hearted woman who adored her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Allen Moreland, Jr. and companion Margie White; her nieces and nephew, Lyndsay, Tyler, and Evelynn Moreland; her sister-in-law, Jennifer Hearn; uncles, Walt Tasker and wife Laura and Kenny Tasker; aunt, Carolyn Tasker; her fur baby, Jada “JDog”; special friends and caregivers, Kathy Bolyard and Shirley Foglepole; along with many extended family members and friends.  Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 4-7PM and on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 from 10-11AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasker Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Resources for Independence.
