Debra Jean (Deem) Filsinger, age 64, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Garrett Regional Medical Center from complications of COVID-19.
Born on December 2, 1956 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Wesley Deem, Sr. and Laura Jean (Jordan) Deem.
Debby retired in January 2019 from the Garrett County Health Department after working 30 years as a home health aide.

Debbie was such a dear friend and coworker. So many good memories and thoughts. She loved her patients and gave them only the best. She loved her friends and brought so much joy to many hearts, especiallymy mom. Mostly, she dearly loved her family and cherished her marriage to Ed. She was a blessing to many and will be missed!
