Darlene Stemple

Darlene Lucille Stemple, 58, of State College, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on May 27, 1963, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of James N. Stemple, I of Oakland and the late Betty L. (Wilson) Stemple.
Darlene owned and operated a childcare center. She was a member of the State College Christian Missionary Alliance. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Darlene enjoyed reading, making crafts and scrapbooking.
In addition to her father, Darlene is survived by her brothers, James N. Stemple, II and wife Sharon of Keene, NH and Philip A. Stemple of State College, PA; her sister, Elaine E. Stemple of of Oakland; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Priscilla L. Squires and husband Donald Squires, III, Donald Squires, IV, Serenity Squires, James N. Stemple, III, James N. Stemple, IV, Carter H. Stemple, Jace A. Stemple, and Willow M. Stemple.
Friends will be received at the Lakeside Assembly of God, 18012 Garrett Hwy, Oakland on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Rev. James N. Stemple, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery.
