"Together Again"

Beverly Jean Spiker, 79, of Kitzmiller, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Dennett Road Manor. Born on June 27, 1940 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wood and Edith (Miller) Evans. Beverly was a graduate of Southern High School and continued her education at Scott Beauty Academy in Cumberland. She worked as a hairdresser until she started her own business, S and S Cleaning Service, which she retired from after many years. Beverly was a member of the Red Hat Society and a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed reading and playing games on her tablet, supporting and watching her granddaughters at dance lessons, playing bingo and baking Christmas cookies. She loved spending time with her family especially her great grandson, Asher. Beverly is survived by her three children, Robin Spiker of Oakland, Lance Spiker and wife Carol of Swanton, Cristal Spiker and Mark Wolf of Kitzmiller; grandchildren, Anthony Schrock and wife Courtney, Aimee Spiker and fiancée Cody Brack, Brooke Linehan and husband Kevin; a step-granddaughter, Heather Paugh and husband Arden; great grandson, Asher Thomas Schrock; and a step great granddaughter, Ava Paugh; a brother, Marshall Evans and wife Priss of Savanah, GA. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas F. Spiker; a brother, Fred Evans; and a sister, Jane Vaden. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1-2 PM at which time a memorial service will be held with Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating. Beverly’s family would like to thank the staff at Dennett Road Manor and Mon General Hospital, 5th floor staff for the exceptional care shown to her.
