Zetta Sweitzer

Zetta Jean Sweitzer, 91, of Oakland died on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Goodwill Retirement Community in Grantsville. Born on July 3, 1930, in Douglas, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ira Glen and Dora Elizabeth (Losh) Burns.
Zetta loved spending time with her family and caring for them. She had also worked as a bar maid and waitress. She enjoyed helping with meals at the Old Mill Restaurant for senior meals.
She is survived by her son, Elwood "Woody" Sweitzer, Jr. of Oakland; a grandson, Eric Sweitzer of Oakland; three great grandchildren; a sister, Rebecca Lynn Lipscomb and husband Gary of Parsons, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Elmo Sweitzer, Sr.; a sister, Regina Fresh; two brothers, Loye and Herman Burns; and a daughter in law, Dorothy Sweitzer.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 28th at 10 AM with Pastor Mark Weeks officiating.
