Wayne E. Collier, 81, of Accident, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Garrett Regional Medical Center.  Born on September 29, 1937 in Meyersdale, he was the son of the late Joseph and Nellie (Bach) Collier.  Wayne was a graduate of Northern High School and throughout his life he continued to support NHS sports.  He was a dairy farmer and a Garrett County school bus contractor for 54 years. Wayne was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Friendsville.  He enjoyed collecting toy farm equipment.  Wayne is survived by his bride of 61 years, Yvonne (Richter) Collier; a daughter, Nancy Savage and husband Deane of Accident; a son, Robert Collier of Grantsville; a granddaughter, Kara Savage of Accident.  Additional family include George and Sheila Smith, their children and grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Ann Collier; an infant granddaughter, Bethany Marie Savage and an infant brother, Paul Collier.  Friends will be received at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 102 N Main St., Accident, on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the church on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 4 PM with Pastor Peter Suwak officiating.  Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.  A special thank you to Dr. Dan Miller, the 3rd floor staff and the ICU staff at Garrett Regional Medical Center for the compassionate care shown to Wayne.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Accident Volunteer Fire Department, Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad, Hospice of Garrett County or the Accident Evangelical Lutheran Parish.  C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.  www.csfredlockfh.com
