Wallace Evans

Wallace Thomas Evans, 79, of Kitzmiller, died on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 3, 1940 in Oakmont, WV, he was the son of the late Othie "Doc" and Eulalia (Barnard) Evans. Wallace was a retired coal miner for G & S Coal Company.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca F. (Harvey) Evans; two sons, Thomas Evans and wife Denise of Aurora, WV; Dan Evans and wife Elaine of Kitzmiller; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, Daniel Evans and girlfriend Kristie Johnson, great grandchildren, Keystin Johnson, and baby Evans; Amanda Evans and boyfriend Chip Mullenax, great grandchildren Wyatt and Rylie Mullenax; Holly Wiles and husband Seth; great grandchildren, Kasen and Hunter; two brothers, Roger and Joe Evans; two special nieces like daughters, Teresa Williams and husband Chris and Becky Reckart and husband Robbie; brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held in funeral home on Monday, December 2, 2019, at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
