Timothy Blossom

Timothy Allen "Tim" Blossom, 33, of Eglon, WV and New Alexandria, PA, died on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Born on December 31, 1990, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of Catherine (Blossom) and Doyle Harsh of Eglon.

Tim was a 2008 graduate of Preston High School, where he spent four years in the JROTC on the Rifle and Drill Teams. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2008 and was stationed on USMC Base Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. He served in the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines Infantry, known as "Lava Dogs". During his time, Tim served two deployments in Afghanistan and was honorably discharged in 2012. He was a 2014 graduate of Wyotech Automotive Trade School in Blairsville, PA and went on to work in the automotive industry. He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, computers and video games.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Samantha Blossom of Milton, PA, Sidney and Sabrina Harsh, both of Eglon; grandfather, Brian Breedlove of Oakland, MD; aunts, Christine Blossom of Manchester, NH, and Michelle "Shellie" Knotts of Mtn. Lake Park; uncles, Steven Blossom and wife Jane Attina of Chardon, OH, and Richard Blossom of Mtn. Lake Park; and cousins, Randy Blossom of Manchester, NH, Mary Blossom of NY, Bree Turgeon and partner Mike Dermody of NH, and Patrick "Woody" Knotts and wife Katrina of Friendsville, MD.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Breedlove, and grandparents, Richard and Maddy Blossom.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 3 to 6 PM and on Monday, February, 12, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Chaz Stoner officiating. Interment, with military honors will follow in the Eglon Cemetery.
