Terrance "Terry" Willis

Terrance Willis, 73, passed away on September 23, 2021, at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV.  He was born on January 12, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio a son of the late Arnold W. Willis and Helena Fay McCourt.

Terry worked for several years for Ford Motor Company in Ohio. In 2013, he became a resident at Cortland Acres where he also became an unofficial employee, always helping out the staff and residents. Terry enjoyed watching movies, fishing and going for walks. He loved spending time with his neighbors and with those that he considered his family, but most of all he looked forward to his Friday evening outings for ice cream.

He is survived by a daughter Wendy Smith and husband David of Elkins, WV; three grandchildren, David Jr. and companion Lindsey, Shawn and companion Krista and Stephen; six great grandchildren, Braelynn, Shawn Jr., LinLeigh, Daeson, JohnDavid and Landon; three special friends, Cindy Helmick, Trish Anderson and their families and Bob Shaffer.

Friends will be received Monday, September 27, 2021, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. James Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thomas, WV.  The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family at this time.
