Steven Aric Kight, 43, of Keyser, WV passed away on Thursday July 8, 2021, after a long battle with illness.
Steve was born on May 19, 1978, in Oakland, MD and was the son of Carl and Marilyn (Colville) Kight of Oakand.
Steve was such a fun, free-spirited person. He loved to ride street and dirt motorcycles and always said he would just follow his feet and see where they led him. He liked fishing and running hobby trucks with his girls and friend Ron Guthrie. Family and friends were very important to him. Driving truck cross country also became a passion for him. He enjoyed waking up in a different place everyday. He had three daughters and one granddaughter and even though he always joked that he "lived in an estrogen pool of hell", his girls were his pride and joy and he wouldn't trade them for the world.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nichole Lynn (Stone) Kight; his daughters, Kristen, Abbigale and Eva; a granddaughter, Rayla Wilson; and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark and grandparents, Sheridan and Eva Kight and James and Lorraine Colville.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 1 to 2 PM. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Carl Fike officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to a charity of one's choice.
The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Kight family.
