He fondly remembered his childhood summers spent with his family on Deep Creek Lake. His love for the water continued his whole life. He and Cheryl continued their fairytale relationship by retiring on his beloved Deep Creek Lake. Steve was a good man, full of life and joy who loved his family deeply. He could make friends with anyone and was always young at heart.
