Sandra Winters

Sandra Winters, 80, of Mtn. Lake Park, died on Monday, November 21, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on June, 11, 1942, in Clarksburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruby (Conner) Palmer.

Sandra attended Victory High School in Clarksburg, WV, and was a graduate of Southern High School. She worked at Garrett National Bank and retired from M & T Bank as a Branch Manager. She was a former member of the hospital board at Garrett Regional Medical Center and was a former member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clayton Winters Jr.; a daughter, Shelley Winters; a granddog Fiona; two brothers, Terry Palmer and wife Sandra of Greensboro, NC, and Todd Palmer and wife Terri Jo of Orlando, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jocelyn Suzanne Winters.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 25, 2022, at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, from 10 AM to 12 PM. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12 PM with Reverend Dr. Chip Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
