Ruth Judy

Ruth L. Judy, 95, of Eglon, passed away on March 28, 2024, at Cortland Acres. Born on January 16, 1929, in Benbush, she was the daughter of the late Darius and Hallie (Kitzmiller) Jordan.

Ruth was a graduate of Thomas High School. She worked for Sterling Processing Plant for over 23 years and was a proud homemaker, taking care of her husband and children. She loved working in her flower beds and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Brown and husband Glen of Horse Shoe Run; three grandchildren, Scott Brown and partner Cristi Parker of Oakland, Tammy Helmick and husband Jr., of Parsons, and Tracy Reall and husband Rick of Oakland; nine great grandchildren, Bailey, Ethan, and Jacob Brown, Trenton and Kennide Helmick, Cody Sherwood, Krysten Whitacre, Chad Judy, Jr., and Brittany Lamastus; and ten great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Judy; a son, Gary Judy; a grandson, Chad Judy, Sr; and four siblings, Mildred Smith, Elsie Skipper, Elwood Jordan, and Wayne Jordan.

Services for Ruth will be private. Interment will follow in the Accident Community Cemetery.
