Rodney Stemple

Rodney Blaine Stemple, 63, of Eglon, WV, passed away on August 30, 2022. Born on November 10, 1958, in Dover, Delaware, he was the son of the late Richard Grant and Evelena Ruth (Shrout) Stemple.

Rodney graduated with the last graduating class of Aurora High School in 1977.  He worked at Fairfax Stone as a Block Plant Operator and later in the shipping and receiving department at Simon Pearce where he retired from in 2019.  He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and working on his tractor. He loved days spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Rodney Allan Stemple and wife Christie, Randy Blaine Stemple and wife Samantha; seven grandchildren, Brett Crews, Cory, Cody, Xavier, KJ, Brooke and Joey Stemple; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Kenneth Crews; and one sister Charlotte Stemple.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Judith M. Stemple.

Friends will be received at the Maple Grove Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 11 AM - 2 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM with Pastors Ryan Miller and Debbie Strawser officiating.  Interment will follow at the Accident Community Cemetery.  Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Stemple family at this time.
