Robert "Bob" Finch

Robert L. “Bob” Finch, 68, of Mtn. Lake Park died on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland.  Born on March, 21, 1950, in Shallmar, he was the son of the late William A. and Kathleen (Costello) Finch.  He was a member of the Oakland Golf Club.  Along with golf, he enjoyed hunting, baseball and games of chance. Bob was also an avid Steeler fan. Above all, he loved his family and will be deeply missed.  He is survived by his loving wife, Debra D. (Beckman) Finch; sons, Martin Scott Finch and Jason R. Finch; a grandson, Zachary William Chase Finch; sister, Betty Jo Brown and husband Robert; brother, James A. Finch and Linda White; brothers and sisters in law, Rosalee Finch, Louise Beckman, Larry Beckman and wife Pauline, Mary Ann Murphy and husband Jeff, Kevin Beckman and wife Robin, Keith Beckman and wife Emily and Jane Thomas; and a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and William Finch and a brother in law, Art Beckman.  Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2ndSt., Oakland on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 3 to 7 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Weeks officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cindy’s Fund, PO Box 182, Oakland, MD 21550.
