Richard Harsh

Richard Edward Harsh, 64, of Aurora, WV, died on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Garrett Regional Medical Center.  Born on February 11, 1954, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Claud F. and Sylvia O. (Snyder) Harsh.  He worked long hours as a heavy equipment operator for many years and, in his off-time, very much enjoyed making memories with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife, Junell J. (Shaluta) Harsh; children, Rebecca Toothman and husband Jeremy of Atlanta, GA, Justin Harsh and wife Hayley of Mechanicsville, VA and Jordan Harsh of Cleveland, OH; two grandchildren, Gabriel Owen and Audrey Ahnah Toothman; and a number of beloved extended family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Glenn Harsh, Bernard Harsh, Jean Tancos, Vernon Harsh and two infant brothers. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2ndSt., Oakland on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 5 to 8 PM.  A graveside service will be held in the Accident Cemetery, Horse Shoe Run, WV on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 1 PM with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity.
