Rhonda Paugh

Rhonda Kay “Punkin” Paugh, 62, of Elk Garden, WV died on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the home of her daughter in Davis, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 30, 1955, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Julia Annabelle (Jackson) Paugh. She had been a crossing guard for the Elk Garden School and had retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of the Elk Garden Church of God. Rhonda enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and her animals, especially her Pomeranians. Rhonda loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Tessa Dawn Paugh and husband Patrick of Davis; grandchildren, Ethan, Jayden, Austin and Bella Paugh; two aunts, Barbara Paugh and Mildred “Midge” Detwiler; an uncle, Joe Paugh; special friend who was like a daughter, Marlena Grogan; best friend and cousin, Carol Jean Smith; cousin, Linda Brown, caregiver, Alice Tekavec; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Norman “Jim” Paugh and numerous aunts and uncles. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD on Tuesday, April 10th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 11th at 12 PM with Pastor John Callaway officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden.
