Paul Lewis

Paul J. “Bud” Lewis, 76, of Terra Alta, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Garrett Regional Medical Center.  Born on April 8, 1942 in Turner Douglas, WV, he is the son of the late Paul W. and Pansy J. (Bell) Lewis.  Bud worked for the Town of Oakland as a laborer caring for our town and the Oakland Cemetery.  Bud was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved babies, celebrating Christmas and going out to watch for deer with his family. Bud is survived by his bride of 49 ½ years, Marie G. (Bohon) Lewis; his children, Connie Marleen Lewis of Kingwood, Junior Ray Lewis and wife Cindy of Oakland, Jody Guy Lewis and wife Roya of Gormania and Paula Jane Lewis of Terra Alta; grandchildren, Emily Lucas, Joshua Marchman, Johnson Robins, Zackary Gidley; great grandson, Parker Palestino; three sisters, Velma Beckman, Violet Alexander and husband Larry, Janice Lewis and husband Robert.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Lewis.  In accordance with Bud’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland.
