Norma Liller-Hargrove

Norma Lee Liller-Hargrove, 92, of Silver Springs, FL, formerly of Oakland, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Born on October 4, 1930, in Swanton, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Friend) Beckman.

Norma was a member and former president of the American Legion Proctor Kildow Post #71 Auxiliary and she had also worked for many years as the Legion's manager. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Leland Hargrove; her children, Dwight "Buck" Liller and wife Mary of Oakland, John Liller and partner Nola of Philippi, WV, Nancy Riggleman and husband Zane of Oakland, and Mary Baker and husband Gary of Ocala, FL; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Owen Liller; two grandchildren, Kimmy and Danny Liller; and her siblings. Norma was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 11 AM with Pastor Russell Liller officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
