Mary Wurster

Mary Rhodes Wurster, 90, of Brook Park, OH, passed away on January 3, 2022, at Southwest Hospice Center surrounded by her family. Born on March 4,1931, in Loch Lynn Hts., MD formerly of Deer Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late Brad and Mina Rhodes.

She was a graduate of Oakland High School, class of 1949. She had a career in Graphic Arts for many years. After retiring, she enjoyed a part time job at B J's demonstration food and volunteering at the ILR at Baldwin Wallace University. She was a member of the NSDAR Western Reserve-Lakewood Chapter, and an associate member of NSDAR Youghiogheny Glades Chapter. Mary was known for her warmth, joyful disposition, and amazing memory - she never forgot a name, face, or birthday. Her friends and family will dearly miss Mary, the always lovely lady and her beautiful smile.

She is survived by two sisters, June Deitke and Nancy O'Connor; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Wurster; two sisters, Ellen Jane Brenders and Shirley Rhodes; and two brothers, Clarence and Earl Rhodes.

A private celebration of her life will be held on October 8, 2022, at 1 PM  at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery with a service by the NSDAR Youghiogheny Glades Chapter.
