Luther Wilson

Luther "Buster" Wilson, Jr., born September 27, 1955, in Baltimore, MD, passed from this life to heaven on December 25, 2021, at his home in Oakland, MD, after a battle with cancer.

Buster was a member of the Crellin United Brethren in Christ Church, where he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He also served periodically in the children ministry. He enjoyed collecting things, sharing his collections with others and reading his Bible.

Buster is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie. He is also survived by his son, Josh daughter-in-law, Jennifer, and grandchildren, Elias and Isabella Wilson who reside in Fairmont, West Virginia. He has one surviving sister, Evelyn "Joyce" Dudley, and many extended family members and friends. He will also be missed by Stella, Buster and Connie's much-loved dog.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Wilson, Sr, and Margaret; brother, Clarence "Buck" Wilson; sisters, Dora "Pearl" Gauniel, Shirley Rutherford and a sister who died in infancy.

There will be a memorial service at Crellin United Brethren in Christ Church, 64 Otterbein Street, Oakland, MD, on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Cindy's Fund (cindysfund.org), Hospice of Garrett County (hospiceofgc.org) or Crellin United Brethren in Christ Church in Buster's honor. All of whom provided much help in his final days.
