June Riley

June Rose Riley, age 75, of Oakland, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Garrett Regional Medical Center.  Born on July 3, 1945, she is the daughter of the late Charlie and Emma Huskey.

June proudly served her country in the United States Army.  She held various jobs throughout the years in our community.  Most recently, she was employed by Garrett Transit Service as a bus driver.  June had an adventurous spirit.  She loved being outdoors with her family.  Many fond memories were made during family camping trips or traveling to visit relatives.  During more quiet times, June enjoyed all types of puzzles and was an avid reader.  She was a loving wife, mom and grandma.

June is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Riley; a son, Danny Riley of Kingwood; a daughter, Bonnie Riley of Grovetown, GA; two grandsons, Jaxson Riley and Calvin Riley; and a sister, Gloria Anderson and husband Walt of Seattle, WA.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 11 AM.  Interment will be held in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.  Face coverings are required and social distancing must be maintained. If you or a member of your family feel ill, please stay home and visit with the family at a later date.
