John Novoselac

John Edward Novoselac, 66, of Oakland, passed away on August 7, 2023, at his home. Born on June 26, 1957, in Rochester, PA, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Anne Marie (Zon) Novoselac.

John worked in retail management, holding various different jobs over the years. He enjoyed cooking and lifting weights. He loved spending time with his wife and Deep Creek Lake. He was Catholic by faith.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diana (Boyer) Novoselac; a son, John Andrew Novoselac; a step daughter, Amanda Marie Shovlin; two grandchildren, David and Samantha Shovlin; two sisters, Cynthia Deen and husband Donald, and Judith Plutko and husband Michael; and four nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Buffalini.

Mr. Novoselac's request for cremation was honored. There are no services scheduled at this time.
