James "David" Rembold, Jr.

February 3, 1964 — March 30, 2024

James David Rembold Jr., "David" went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in his home. Born on February 3, 1964, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late James David Rembold Sr. and Judy (Carr) Rembold.

He graduated from Largo High School in 1982. David worked tirelessly to earn his bachelor's degree and graduated in 2006 from the University of Maryland. Despite the challenges of working full-time, running a business, and raising a family, David chose to make his education a priority. David's work ethic was evident for his entire life. Even prior to graduating high school he began working with his father and brother in several business endeavors. He spent over 40 years as an accountant and owner of JD Accounting & Tax Services. He was an entrepreneur at heart and continued to seek additional business opportunities. In 2012, David started Buddy's Lawn Service with his children. The business started as a small enterprise and grew beyond expectations. David owned and operated the business until he sold it in 2022.

He was a brilliant mind and had a love for wisdom. He was always looking for ways to learn and grow mentally and spiritually. David was constantly challenging himself, and forever teaching his children to do the same. He was a car and motorsport enthusiast, avid reader, dedicated husband, loving father, and supportive friend. David loved his family fiercely and in every choice he made he put them first. David was a faithful believer and follower of Jesus Christ and a member of New Life Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dana (Ward) Rembold, the love of his life; brother, Jeffrey Rembold and wife Kristine; children, Jessica Rembold-Rotz and husband Clifford Rotz, Courtney Rembold, Morgan Rembold Sneed and husband Jayson Sneed, James David Rembold III, Sarah Teel and husband Mike, James Ross and wife Megan, and Zachary Ross.

He leaves behind six grandchildren, Mariah, Donavan, Quinn, Paige, Amelia, and Landon. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
