James Lancaster

James Ray Lancaster, 75, of Elk Garden, WV, died on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, MD. Born on January 11, 1947, in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late James Leo and Martha Ellen (Ray) Lancaster.

He retired from National Can Corporation in Baltimore and also made and sold leather goods. He was an avid stamp, coin and baseball card collector. Jimmy was loyal Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.

He is survived by two sisters, Linda Kay Lancaster of Dundalk and Deborah Mae Lancaster of Bethesda; nephews, Christopher and Michael Pirisino; and great nieces, Milena, Sienna, and Sofia Pirisino.

Friends will be received at the Elk Garden United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 11 AM to 12 PM. A funeral service will be held in the church at noon with Pastor Wayne E. Gosnell officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden.
