Harvey Crush, Sr.

Harvey Gerald Crush, Sr., 94, of Mt. Lake Park, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 surrounded by friends and family at Dennett Road Manor. Born on December 1, 1923 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Clinton and Sylvania Crush. Harvey proudly served in the United States Army. He was a startup engineer at Atlantic City Electric where retired from after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Deer Park VFW Post #10077 and American Legion Post #155. Harvey was always busy tinkering around the house and building things. He loved woodworking, reading and listening to music. He was a good man who never met a stranger. Harvey is survived by his bride of 21 years, Shirley A. (Wotring) Crush; two sons, Harvey G. Crush, Jr. and wife Kathy of Gulfport, MS and Kevin Crush and wife Cindy of Atlantic City, NJ; one granddaughter and two grandsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother. In accordance with Harvey’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned. C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., Oakland had been entrusted with arrangements.
