Harold Harsh

Harold Ray Harsh, Sr., 81, of Oakland, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his home. He was born on November 27, 1937, in Red House at the family farm and he was the son of the late Earl C. and Helen K. (Mosser) Harsh.

Harold was U.S. Marine having served from 1957 to 1960.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joanne (McRobie) Harsh; five children, Thomas E. Harsh and wife Cathy, Harold R. Harsh, Jr. and wife Jana Brown, Patricia L. Harsh, David T. Harsh and wife Darlene, and Theresa Anthony and husband Jeff; four grandchildren, Christopher Harsh, Casey Harsh, Harold R. Harsh, III and Brianna French; and a sister, Gladys Anderson.

Friend will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 5 to 8 PM and Monday, October 14, 2019, from 9 to 11 AM at which time the funeral service will be held. Military honors will be accorded by the combined honor guard from American Legion Post #71, V.F.W. Post #10077 and Marine Corps League.
