Harold Delaney

Harold William Delaney Jr., 55, of Eglon, WV passed away September 8, 2018 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood, WV. He was born December 22, 1962. He is survived by his parents, Harold William Sr. and Mary Jean Zimmerman Delaney. Also surviving are three sons, Steven (Erica) Delaney, Baltimore, MD, Brandon Delaney and Christian "Shane" Delaney both of Washington State, three sisters, Debbie Delaney, Chambersburg, PA, Chrissy Delaney, Baltimore, MD, and Stephanie Detling, Baltimore, MD, and seven grandchildren, Joey, Austin, Ayden, Quinn, Ben, and Emma Delaney.

Mr. Delaney worked over the years as a factory worker in several factories in Baltimore. He was an avid collector of model cars. He enjoyed watching football and nascar. Over the years, Harold wrote many poems and songs. He loved listening to rock music. He took great pride in being a caretaker for both of his parents over the years.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Monday, September 10, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Texas cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
