Frank "Joseph" Perozziello

December 22, 1936 — March 31, 2024

Frank Joseph Perozziello, 87, of Randallstown, MD, passed away on March 31, 2024. Joe was the spouse to Shirley Lambert, to whom he was married for 59 years. Joe was born in Rockingham, Vermont, on December 22, 1936, to the late Frank and Mary Louise (Smith) Perozziello. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Joe began work for Montgomery Ward as an auditor and later worked for companies such as Bendix and Westinghouse, supporting the nation's defense and requiring world-wide travel. He retired as a project administrator from Northrop Grumman in Annapolis, Maryland in January of 1997, after 27 years. Joe was a member of the Navy Reserve Officers Training, from 1955-1959, and served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962.

He was a member of the Sons of Italy, serving as Venerable of the Randallstown Lodge and managing the entertainment of the Baltimore Italian Festival in the 1970's, for which he received a personal President's Citation of Merit from the Baltimore City Council and was presented with an "Italian Festival Days" proclamation by Mayor William Donald Schaefer. From the time he moved to Randallstown, he was a parishioner and usher of Holy Family Church and served on the Parish Finance Committee. Joe was a Certified National Rifle Association Instructor who taught dozens of residents responsible firearm use through the Maryland Hunter Safety program. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Loyal Order of the Moose.

He would often say his most rewarding vocation was serving as an Adult Leader, (Cubmaster and Scoutmaster), for the Boy Scouts of America for over fifty years, having led hundreds of boys resulting in fifty of them receiving Eagle Scout during Joe's service.

Joe is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Michael Joseph and his wife Susie (Potter) of Crownsville, MD, and Eric Anthony of Discovery Bay, CA; two grandsons, Stephen Michael of Savannah, GA and Nicolás Francisco of Discovery Bay, CA; one sister, Anna Peltier of Enfield, CT; thirteen nieces and nephews; nineteen grand-nieces and nephews; and thirteen great-grand-nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home, 567 Thomas Avenue, Davis. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at the Buena Cemetery with Fr. Martin Smay officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for those who wish to make contributions to do so to either St. Jude's Children Hospital, Shiners Hospitals for Children, or Wounded Warriors.
