Donald Lee Clark, Sr., 79, of Kitzmiller, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his home. Born on June 9, 1942, in Vindex, he was the son of the late James and Bessie Marie (Beeman) Clark.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Local 616 Labor Union and was a carpenter. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dora Lee (Simon) Clark; three daughters, Lora Clark, Jeannie Tichnell and Betty Carr; a son, Donald Clark, Jr. and wife Ruby; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dennis Garlitz, Jr. and three brothers, Tommy, James and Harold Clark.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Elk Garden, with military honors accorded by the combined honor guard of the American Legion Post #71 and the Deer Park V.F.W. Post #10077.
