Delores Aronhalt

Delores Virginia Aronhalt, 95, went to her Heavenly Home on December 24, 2022, while under the care of Cortland Acres, Thomas, WV. Born on September 10, 1927, in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe E. and Alma (Conard) Chapman.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne Aronhalt and wife Sharon of Mt. Storm, WV, Ernie Aronhalt and wife Wanda of Berkley Springs, WV, and Wendell Aronhalt and wife Susan of Sandston, VA; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Norma Kline; and two brothers, Marvin Chapman and Gerald "Bill" Chapman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert W. Aronhalt; a daughter, Juanita Kitzmiller; three brothers, Elwood, Lyle and Blondell Chapman; two sisters, Charlotte Kitzmiller and Jean Wickwire; two grandsons; and a great-great grandson.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Mount Storm Presbyterian Church, 16683 George Washington Highway, Mt. Storm. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor James Reed officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
