Debra Ann Ridenour, 64, of Elk Garden, WV, passed away on October 5, 2023, at Potomac Valley Hospital surrounded by her family. Born on September 9, 1959, in Ft. Meade, MD, she was a daughter to the late Arnold and Doris (Copeland) Evans.
Debra was a proud mother and grandmother; she was a homemaker who cherished the time spent caring for her family. She was a member of the Elk Garden Assembly of God Church. Debra loved reading and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her stepfather, Timothy Bosley of Elk Garden; the love of her life, Kelvin Paugh, with whom she raised two children, Amy Paugh of Elk Garden, and Amber Moorehead and husband Tyler of Keyser; three grandchildren, Shaylea Grace DeBerry, Bryson Douglas Keith DeBerry, and Cayden Gage Twyman; a great granddaughter, Layla Passion DeBerry; four siblings, Tara O'Brien and partner Tracy Cameron of Cumberland, Missy Schwinabart of Westernport, Ronald Evans of Keyser, and James Evans; family friend, Will Sims of Panama City, FL; and a best friend, Mary Lambka of Elk Garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Wayne and Rick Evans.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St. Kitzmiller. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11 AM, in the funeral home, with Pastor Greg Moreland officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery.
