David Kosanic

David Keith Kosanic, 45, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at his home. He was born in Parsons, WV, on November 1, 1978, the son of Rita Faye (Cosner) Kosanic and the late Dennis Alexander Kosanic.

David loved making other people laugh and having a good time. He always found a way of cracking jokes and comforting his children, especially in serious situations, by playing and carrying on with them. Everyone who knew him loved being around him. He really enjoyed fishing with his girls, helping and teaching them along the way. He also enjoyed riding around town either in his car or on his four-wheeler, and listening to and expressing his love for rock music, especially Five Finger Death Punch, Nickelback, and Disturbed.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister; both sets of grandparents; and special cousins, Ryan "Doughboy" Robinson and Michael Cosner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Kambria and Baylee Kosanic, both of Aurora, WV; two brothers, Dennis "Denny" Allen Kosanic of Elk Garden, WV, and Brian Kosanic of Aurora; niece, Kendra Kosanic, and nephew, Kaden Kosanic, both of Elk Garden; great nephew, Grayson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

David's wishes to be cremated will be honored. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, or to your local ambulance service.
