Daniel Bray

Daniel "JR" Dwight Bray, Jr., 44, of Kitzmiller, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2024, at his home. Born on January 23, 1980, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Daniel and Janet (Logan) Bray, Sr.

He was a graduate of Southern Garrett High School. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, especially Metallica, and spending time with his dogs, Sammy, Sparky, and Tiny. JR loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Cheri Jane Davis Bray, to whom he was married on December 13, 2015; his daughter, Cameron Skye Davis of Kitzmiller; three godchildren, Brooklynn Coleman, Remijoe Sweitzer, and Ivalynn Janoske; a brother, Blake Bray of Grantsville; along with several beloved uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Roy Scott Davis, Jr., his mother-in-law, Sheila Stemple; and lifelong best friend, Jason James.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St. Kitzmiller. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery.
