Carol Faye (Corbin) Pase, 88, of Thomas, WV, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on December 8, 2023, with her faithful cat, Maybelle, on her lap and watching over her. She was born on April 11, 1935, in Kempton, MD and was the daughter of the late Claude "Pete" Corbin and Gladys "Glad" (Davis) Corbin.

Carol was a 1954 graduate of Southern Garrett High School in Oakland, MD. After graduating high school, she was a live-in babysitter for her niece and nephew, Sheryl (Corbin) Bustin of Lititz, PA and Stephen Corbin of Oakland, MD. Carol was married to Daniel "Boone" Pase at Red House, MD, on April 22, 1960. They had celebrated 57 years of marriage at the time of Boone's passing. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, collecting antiques, collecting dolls from her childhood, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and family and friends. She and her husband had enjoyed fishing, riding around (especially to Kempton), and visiting her sisters in Kempton.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Tambra J. (Allen) Hebb of St. George, WV and Daniel W Pase (Daniel Shingleton) of Kempton, Oakland, MD; two grandchildren, Toby (Amber) Hebb, and Tyler (Abby) Hebb; five great grandchildren, Briar, Boone, Addalee, Anatala, and Jack; a very special niece, Helen Cavalier and Joe of Rivesville, WV; two nephews with whom she was close, David Corbin of Woodbridge, VA and Jeff Corbin of Kempton, Oakland, MD; along with numerous other nieces and nephews, who she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Daniel "Boone" Pase; six brothers, Willard, Cletus, Jackson, Milnor, Delmont, and Bradley; one infant sister, Thelma Mae; two very special sisters and lifelong best friends, Maxine Repetsky and Wanda Corbin; three very special nieces, Carolyn Sue Bird, Toni Repetsky, and Jeanette Bittinger; lifelong friends and godparents of her children, Robert "Bob" and Mary "Toots" White; as well as a dear friend, Ruth Milkint.

Carol will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
