Betty Warnick

December 25, 1961 — September 3, 2022

Oakland

Betty Lou Warnick, 60, of Oakland passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was a beloved Wife, Mother and Mawmaw. Born on December 25, 1961, Oakland, Betty was a daughter of the late Allen Eugene and Deloris Mae Liston.

Betty Lou married her high school sweetheart on July 21, 1979. She was a military spouse for thirteen years, and a loving mother who ran the household and raised two children while her husband was deployed. Betty enjoyed working in the garden, her numerous craft projects, and most importantly spending as much time with her family as possible. She was loving, caring, generous, and had a gorgeous smile that would light up any room that she walked into. Her laughter was contagious, and she had an absolute heart of gold.

Betty is survived by her husband of 43 years, Douglas Keith Warnick; two daughters, Debra "Nikki" Green and spouse Shad, and Kristin Medel and spouse Marty; two granddaughters, Michaela Green and fiancé Andrew, and Kierstin Green; two grandsons, Logan Medel and Keith Medel; one great granddaughter, Remi Rae Martin; three brothers, Jack Liston, Robert Liston and spouse Lana, and William Warner; one sister, Ada Mae King; two sisters in law, Dawn Warnick and Debbie Warnick; one brother in law, Skip Warnick and spouse Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father in law, Donald Keith Warnick, and one brother, Mikey Cole.

Mrs. Warnick's request for cremation was honored. Friends will be received on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 10 AM to 12 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St. Kitzmiller. A Memorial service will be held at 12 PM with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Storm Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to a juvenile diabetes foundation, childhood cancer foundation, or a veterans foundation.

The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Warnick Family at this time.
