Obituary

Michael F. Annarelli, 79, of Swanton died on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at his home. Born on March 25, 1940, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Anthony L. and Gertrude M. (Drozd) Annarelli. He served in the Army National Guard, 29th Artillery Division out of Pikesville for 8 years. Prior to retirement, he was a Lieutenant in the Baltimore City Fire Department. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Oakland and served on the board of directors for Community Action in Garrett County for 12 years.. In addition to spending time with his family, Michael enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Regina “Jean” (Wojciechowski) Annarelli; a daughter, Michele A. Hudson of Palm Bay, FL; a son, Michael A. Annarelli and wife Richann of Swanton; three granddaughters, Alexis, Ava and Addison; and two sisters, Lee McClelland and husband Tom of Columbia and Lynn Tuccy and husband Philip of Ellenton, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony F. Annarelli and a son in law, Gary L. Hudson. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Fr. Doug Kenney at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 208 S 4th St., Oakland on Saturday May 18th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cindy’s Fund, PO Box 182, Oakland, MD 21550, Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550 or St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
